Pre-Placement Talks: Organizations are encouraged to conduct Pre-Placement Talks as they enable students to get a clearer perspective on the company’s outlook, its ethics, the job profile offered and other details that are critical for the decision-making. It is in the company’s best interest to make these PPTs as detailed (with reference to the job profile, compensation details etc.) as possible to as to paint an accurate picture for the job aspirants. The indicative dates for PPTs are given below.

Recruitment Schedule: At the close of the Pre-Placement Talks, the order in which companies visit campus to recruit students is decided and the schedule for final recruitment is drawn up. The chronological order in which companies recruit from campus is decided by t voting process, in which all registered members of the placement cell participate. Companies are evaluated on the basis of parameter such as the Job Profile offered, the location of work, the scope for career advancement and growth within the organization, the reputation of the organization in question and the compensation offered. |
Recruitment Process: Once organization have been categorized as above, each category will be allocated specific time intervals within which to complete their respective recruitment process, henceforth referred to as “days” i.e. day 1, day 2 etc. Companies with multi-stage recruitment process such as a qualifying test etc may conduct them prior to the commencement of the placement week. Each “day” will be 72 hours long and companies participating must wrap up their process within the stipulated time interval. |
